On top of the tears, Elijah has been extra wiggly recently, and managed to roll himself from back to tummy this morning! So lots of the photos are like the one about: arched back, curled legs, half rolled over. I actually love them, since it is a pretty significant part of his first year, learning to move his little body around.
I love his little feet and hands, even though his hands are usually full of my hair, they are still so sweet and pudgy. I love to think of all the things those little hands will do, and all the places those little feet will take him.
This month:
Loves...
-Grabbing. He's figured it out for the most part. He can grab faces, toys, fist-fulls of hair (his and mine).
-To put everything (that he grabs) into his mouth! Hands, feet, Mom's hair, Dad's beard... you name it, it's headed for the mouth.
-To sit in his Bumbo at the table during dinner time.
-His Jolly Jumper.
-Raspberry noises. He discovered excessive spit and blowing makes fun noises during his great grandpa's funeral.
-"Drinking" water from Mommy's cup.
-Story time.
-Baths, SO much!
-Going for walks.
-Cheza.
-His Soo-soo.
-Tasting food (we let his taste little pieces of fruit or veggies now and then, no actual eating, and only "pure" things in case of an allergic reaction).
-Standing up on his feet (supported of course)
Hates...
-To be put down.
-Naps.
-How he grabs his own face. Hello, scratches!
-How some hand keeps pulling his soother out of his mouth.
-Laying on his tummy.
Baby Steps:
-He rolled from back to front, today!
-Tons of drooling, I'm just waiting for those teeth to pop!
-Sleeps about 3 hours at a time maximum.
-Puked in Mommy's mouth and Daddy's beard.
-Is noticing people much more and following objects with his eyes.

Love the new look to cotton fox Jordan!
